The performance "Am I Comfortable Enough?" critically examines patriarchal norms and their imposition on women. Society expects women to appear and behave in certain "acceptable" ways, suppressing assertiveness, aggression, persistence, and personal boundaries—essentially, to be convenient. We believe "comfort" is a characteristic of furniture, not people. The aim of our project is not just to highlight deeply ingrained stereotypes but to facilitate dialogue about gender equality, respect, and women's right to express emotions, opinions, and personal boundaries without fear of judgment. The performance is a call to action, challenging societal norms, promoting diversity, and fostering global communities where every voice is valued. Following the performance, we facilitate a dynamic discussion involving invited experts and the audience. This interactive session deepens engagement with the themes, creating a collective reflection that enriches the experience.

Artist Bio: Anja Demidova is a Berlin-based theater director. Her performances are visually striking and surreal, blending profound meanings, baroque aesthetics, and contemporary pop-culture references. Anja creates theater experiences that balance irony and sincerity, spontaneity and ritual, humor and depth. She calls her unique approach "TeatRave": theater infused with rave-like energy, experimentation, and layered imagery—open to interpretation and dialogue.
